SALMAN KHAN HITS THE RAMP

Surily Goel's first show was a star-studded event, both on and off the ramp. On, we saw Salman Khan looking uber-cool in glares and a jacket that sported the word 'Royalty? on the back.
The show opened with Neelam Kothari, looking very girly, and closed with Mallaika Arora, looking every inch the diva. In the audience, we spotted Preity Zinta with beau Ness Wadia, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle, to name a few celebs.
The new collection opened to lots of applause from the word go. Inspired by the rose, it explores the various ?moods of a woman in love? ?- innocent and shy, sensuous and passionate.
In more tangible terms, we spotted lots of exciting accessories: first, the return of the clutch (a square/rectangular purse), pearl hand accessories, chunky necklaces, tie-ups sandals and fancy hip belts.
As for the clothes, we saw stylish corsets, 70s-like prints and materials, bright pinks and blues, dresses, minis, flowing silhouettes and a striking yellow bikini sported by the leggy Nina Manuel.
Can you wear this?
The red shirt? Sure, if you have the colour to carry it off. For the rest of us, that jacket is still perfect for a formal do.
