That's what I call a nightmare, not that my family would ever say yes, but sure do feel bad for girl's who get stuck in such situations ....
I knew this one guy in my home town who was engaged to a girl in pak, had been married to a white girl who dumped him before he got a visa, was talking to this other white girl who I used to work with, his mother was proposing on his behalf to MY BEST FRIEND...(white convert with visa....see the pattern) and he had the nerve to come up to me and tell me he loved me and no one else...and would I marry him (we were at a desi party)...I was like...eeeew hell no (guy was also like 10 yrs older than me)...YUCK!
