Are any of you planning to attend the lunch with President Musharraf (of Pakistan) on 15 September at the New York Palace Hotel in Manhattan?

Thanks for your comment. I was unaware of anything scheduled on Saturday, 17 September. The only two events for which I received invitations were a business-oriented lunch and a human rights-oriented dinner, both on 15 September. (I'm attending the former).

How might I finagle an invitation to either of the 17 September events?

I think my invitation to this dinner must have been lost in the mail. Can't trust USMail these days. Should've used Fedex. (-:
