I was in Spain last May, and went to Seville, as well as Granada, it was beautiful. The Alhambra in Granada is the only thing to see, but it is the best, its a world heritage site. MAKE SURE YOU BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE for the Alhambra, and get their early in the morning, no exaggeration, the line up starts hours before it opens at i think 8am, and the people with tickets get in and very few get in without tickets. They get like 2000 people line up. One day in advance is ok, we got stuck there two days because we did not know that. I would suggest u stay in Granada to be there early in the morning (check out timing on websites) because it takes an entire day to look at the Alhambra palace its like a city in itself. The thing about Spain is that you got so many things to see and they all have different timings so good to plan what museums and palaces u want to check out and what their timings are. Seville I did in a day but would have liked to stay longer, lots of old cathedrals and palaces too see, they are all in the city centre, just get a map when you go there. Try to go to Malaga, I heard the beach there is really nice, I went there only to see the picasso museum (we ran out of time). Let me know if you have any more specific questions. I am going to Spain, this time the east side (Barcelona, Valencia, etc) in June.

Looks like we'll take the bus as the train is four hours plus it runs less frequently. Well I'm off next week!!

Thanks for the info. Is it possible to go to granada for the day, mainly to see the alhambra??

stay in the barrio de los judeos (the jewish quarter)... it's a quaint little area close to all the cool stuff... go see the alcazar, the catedral... :)
