No, unfortunately I'm not in the bay... hoping to maybe move there soon... we'll see.
I do have access to an suv and a trailer, just don't have time - that's my big problem. Just need to take some time out to take care of it. As far as sitting.. the damage is done; this bike has been sitting for like 2 years now. I was told it's supposed to run, just needed to drop a new battery in it. Now I KNOW it's gonna take some add'l work to get it going.
Awwee.. thanks for the offer Kapa... but the bike is in YC (an hour north of Sacramento). I go back and forth between Sac and YC; it would be way too far out of your way... well, unless you insist.. j/k ;)
I don't know what's wrong w/ it. It's a long story... but some junkie owed my bro some money, so he gave him his bike... It's a Yamaha cruiser, don't know the model. I think it's a 500cc, not certain. It's been sitting and I can't seem to get it started.
I know the owner of a local Harley shop, I was gonna take it in and have it looked at... just haven't had time.
I figured I could learn on this one and thrash it up; then get a new one.

ye, 9 coming down is pretty technical. i had an 'oh sh*t' moment too. blew a right hander and went over the double yellow by a foot. luckily, the cars coming up the opposite side weren't close to the double yellow.
