Shalwar kameez-where?

Chum-chums, where in NYC, besides Jackson Heights, can a russian chick purchase a shalwar kameez of a good quality (shawl included). Ohh, and how much money are we talking about (remember-I am poor)?

I saw this girl on the train today and she was wearing this beautiful light golder color shalwar kameez, it was just soo cute. Don't worry, I am not planning to strawl in public in such gown, but just so I add it to my collection of dresses from other cultures...

Thanks!

Ladies! Shukriya everyone for your responses! I am very excited to purchase my first desi outfit and add it to my nigerian and chinese dresses, hehe. Anyways, I found some shalwar kameez I like on that site, seasonsindia.com, and I will most likely purchase there. The prices vary from $69 to $250, but those I liked are between $75 and $90, which I think is very good.

LM: I may bother you for the number later one, if the need arises. I am not sure if there will be any desi weddings for me to attend very soon, most likely not untill next year...

Chaos, I realized my error with help of Mr. Randevous (you know how he comes here, reads things, does not post, but then later tells me how and where I went wrong? :)). I haven't been to that area in years, but willing to go, though; like i said, most likely I will purchase shalwar kameez online first and then see...I do not know how keen pakistanis are when it comes to purchase returns... :D

Darya! I think you and Onlyaap are talking about two different Pakivilles (or FOBville as I like to call it)... The one Onlyaap is talking about is on Coney island Ave between Foster Ave and Avenue H and I think you are mentioning the one around Brighton...

You know, Imran, desi men seem to always look for compliments by showing false modesty...and me, silly enough, seem to always go with a flow and provide the comliments in abundance. Saying that, I want to ask why is there a common opinion that I am supposed to get a crush on someone for his look? I am a smart-pants, remember, a nerd. Looks do not matter to me. But I am certainly willing to see eye & head doctor, if you you so desire..
