Aah ko chahiye ek umr asar hone tak
Koun jita hai teri zulf ke sar hone tak
Aashiqui sabr talab aur tamannah betaab
Dil ka kya rang karooN khoon-e-jigar hone tak
(sabr = patience; talab = pursuit, basically Ghalib's saying :
"Love demands Patience ... while desire remains Impatient!")
Ham ne mana ke taghaful na karoge lekin
Khaak ho jaayenge ham tumko khabar hone tak
(taghaful = neglect , Khaak= soil means "I will die" here)
Gham-e-hasti ka Asad kis se hai juz marg ilaaj
Shama har rang meiN jalti hai sahar hone tak
(Gham-e-hasti = The sorrow/pain of Life,
Theres' no cure for life but death but before the lamp of life goes out, it will give out rainbow of all colors)

Shamma - thats a really nice one. I didn't know this and yea the translation really helps because i am in the process of learning his work. Please share more.
