I'm visiting here for a few days so thought i'd try out Kan Zaman restaurant in Haight (recommended by naseebsters). Food was not bad, and the sheesha was pretty good, although you could only smoke at the bar as they didn't allow it on the tables whilst you smoke. Cost $14 for a sheesha which I thought was a bit much, but still cheaper than the $20 I got charged a couple of days ago at a moroccon place closer to my hotel. Are all the hookah bars in the US this pricey, or is san fran a unique example?

I still prefer the sheesha in Edgware Road, London. The quality and atmosphere seems to be so much better, and prices relative to the location are much better too.
