Shia / Sunni UNITY!!!
Check out this video by a Shia and see how easy it is (a Sunni gave his life to save 100's of Shia): video.google.com
LOL, uncle Muawiyah...classic. I guess he could be analogous to the fat smelly uncle who always showed up to all the family reunions drunk and then usually ended up trying to fight one of your parents or hitting on your little sister.
bro, the word 'shia' used to be associated with the names of both ali and mu'awiyah, so ppl would say back then "the shia of ali" and the "shia of mu'awiyah", but the latter disappeared (as mu'awiyah's party became the 'rulng party'), while the first place had the name of ali dropped from it and the word 'shia' survived.
soon the shia would turn into 'rafidah', it started during ali's lifetime. having 'shia' leanings then (i.e., partisanship to ali, or men from his household) wasn't a grave accusation but among the umayyids who saw in them contenders to the throne, that's all. "feehi tashayyu3" was a phrase u read scholars of hadith use when referrng to a narrator, but to warn only from narrations he'd have fabricated to win support for his bid'ah (of ahlulbayt only ruling muslims).
to be only politically against mu'awiyah..is something we wouldn't mind, but to make it a religious creed and introduce rejection of abu bakr and omar and all the rest of their trash, that's something we wouldn't tolerate.
mu'awiyah is our uncle, his sister was the prophet's wife, if she's our mother then he's our uncle. and ali is the prophet's son in law and his cousin! ali is dearer to us than mu'awiyah, and he's better a muslim than him.
& #1613;Rafidi Iraqi news websites like ( www.karbalanews.net ) deny such heroism on the part of Sunnis (saving Rafidi lives)!!!
What do you expect?? They deny the remarkable services of the Sahaabah at the dawn of Islam and to this day, which not even the most hostile orientalists dared to do, you think they'd recognize a Sunni "life-guard"s favour? :D
we wouldn't have a problem with the first Shia who wanted Ali as caliph instead of Mu'awiyah, but the Rafidah we wouldn't tolerate them. Ali himself wouldn't!
Shia like those at the time of Ali have almost gone extinct; they no longer exist.
