Sickeningly happy people

Here is another part of the spectrum. Once people are matched or they find their bhabi, naseeb, whatever, why must they feel compelled to match YOU with someone. I personally think that it is a selfish combination of the following:
1. They don't want to be alone in their euphoria
2. They realize that they will be doing alot of "couples" stuff and want another couple to hang out with
3. They have gotten so high on their own happiness that hey have begun to pity you.

What's worse is the people my friends pick for me. I think it says alot about a persons perception of you. And they never believe me when I tell them to leave it alone, they just think I'm being proud. Can anyone else relate to this?

There were so many people there, I couldn't figure out who anyone was! And I didn't even get a chance to ask the bride!!! But yes, we definitely livened up the wedding with our bhangra-ing, it was great! :) You are coming to the valima, right? I just woke up by the way, will probably leave for Manhattan by 3pm. Can't wait!

I can't wait Sonia! Hey, so did you meet my cousin and his wife at the mehndhi? I spoke to my cousin yesterday and he was telling me about what a fun, partying family you have!

Sorry guys, I'm busy partying in NY these days. Of course you two can be a part of the Sabila-Sonia club! The more the merrier, and I can't think of two people better suited to it. Sabila, see you tomorrow! I'll have my phone and will call you when I get into town :)

Ramsey, I changed my eating habits for a woman. My sis nagged me into becoming a vegetarian! I eventually went back to eating meat. But I am in the process of weening off it. Right now..no red meat and no chicken. Fish is going to be hard.

I love the Morning Star sausages as well! Those will do just fine. And carnivores are welcome to join the club.

I dunno Ramsey. You can see if she will accept brisket!

Ramsey, if you cant manage, ive got a couple of packs of Morning Star veggie sausage links. Perhaps you can convince Sabila to take those instead!

Yes, I am a geek.

Sonia doesn't seem to have much of an opinion about this, so I, assuming the sole decision-making role, declare that Ramsey shall be part of the Sabila-Sonia club if and only if he can bring home the veggie bacon...the Morning Star variety, that is.

Well, Ramsey. I am only a recently inducted neophyte, and wouldnt feel comfortable exercising a vote. You know what it would be if I did though! As you said: "Even the people who hate you like you!" (Try the fudgeo thing man...works like a charm)

Thanks Sabila. Im not really all that dejected, but I rather enjoy mimicking the act of fishing for solace in the shallow depths of my own deprecation...

Dear Ifrit, I kid, I kid. Like Sonia and me, you're too cool for school and, hence, a newly appointed club member!
