1. Men are NOT Mindreaders: I don't care if you think 'well hmmph he should just know' chances are he doesn't. This is a communications nightmare, and yet women persist with this attitude. Good grief!

2. Quit with the Mind Games!: Talk about a waste of time and energy! Don't even try to justify this with me - its not about being 'coy' or 'demure' its about messing around with a man's head to the point where he is utterly confused - at which point the woman can unleash a pms fit on his poor unsuspecting soul. What ever happened to being honest and straightforward?

3. The Metrosexual Phenomenon: Okay, I realize there are many different ways to define this. I don't have a problem with a guy that is a bit more sensitive or has decent grooming habits. If, however, he takes up more space in the bathroom with products and cries and mushy moments more than I do - we've got problems. I'm all about making sure a man doesn't keep things pent up - but don't turn him into a woman! I'm quite fine with being the soothing nurturer and he being the strong shoulder to lean on. It doesn't make a man fake, and it doesn't make a woman weak!

4. Your Father, Brother, Uncle, and Future Son(s): The next time you find yourself inclined to bash a man - consider the men in your life right now (barring any Allah-forbid terrible relationships). So stop treating 'men' as a 3-letter word and consider that perhaps that man is someone's father/brother/uncle/son. You wouldn't you darling little brother to put up with the wicked ways of a woman, would you? So don't do it yourself!

5. LOVE: I'll be the first to admit that I like 'material' signs of affection - flowers/candy/jewelry/etc. Please don't confuse these OBJECTS with actual love. Love is a husband who works all day for a job he may not like so that he can provide a comfortable home for his family. Love is seeing your husband attempt to make the baby smile. Love is watching your man pray with the family. Forgetting a birthday or anniversary - as much as that sucks I know - is not a sign of lack of love.

6. Letting the Past be the Past: Yes, men can hurt women (and vice versa). The solution is to let yourself hurt a bit - learn from what happened, and MOVE ON. That does not mean treating every single man you come across as the jerk who screwed you over. Would you like it if a man who was hurt by a woman did the same to you? I didn't think so.

7. The Role of a Woman: Feminazis (not to be confused w/ traditional feminists) irritate me to no end alone. This may be a bit of tangent - but I'm tossing it into the mix. I'm all for women having the opportunities once denied to them and for men to help out with what were once considered only 'womanly' tasks. I also believe that the most noble profession a woman can choose is that of wife and mother.

And yet - somehow this is considered 'weak' or 'backwards' by some. Or, that a woman has to 'prove herself' by becoming a doctor, rearing the perfect 3.5 children, and 'grooming' the model husband. Are you kidding me? Why do we make things so hard for ourselves - and in turn - so miserable for men? Ladies let us take control of our lives and stop living under unreasonable social mores - make sensible choices!

I like watching Sex and the City. Yeah, the episodes are pretty much the same, sex sex sex, but I like that it shows their independent lives. Maybe it's a girl thing to understand? Sometimes I even wonder why I like watching the show. And maybe guys could learn a thing or two from watching it! :P

I don't think anyone wanted kids except Charlotte... and I believe she adopted because she couldn't have children of her own.

"sex and the city" is (was) fun labs....but damn, its such a one dimensional show .. women trying to one-up men by showing that they can be independent and have a no-strings attached sex life ..every single freakin episode was on the same topic, and it gets tiresome seeing a couple of wrinkly middle aged women pancing around half naked with a guy half their age at a manhattan shag pad

....and then later on (towards the end of the show) lamenting the fact that the biological clock has ticked away like a WWII time bomb and the only way to "have" kids would be to adopt a cambodian child ala Angelina "Big lips" Jolie

hmm nothing wrong with sex in the city.. );

my source of information? Hadiths and to an extent the Qu'ran. Both which combined explain to women what they need to stop doing.
