Yet what of the things I am!
Should I to my own self be true?
Or shall I mold myself in the words of you?
Since I am human, be not humane should I?
Since I am lover, be not love shall I?
Since I am son, be not obedient, subservient I?
What of being father? Teacher am not I? Friend?
Allah's Ruh I possess, forget not, see.
So one with my Ruh should I not be?
