Skydiving - a must for everyone!!

This has to be one of my best experiences EVER!!! I would highly recommend it to everybody!! You have to try it once. Although I had a bad shoulder afterwards....it was definitely worth the pain. I did a tandem skydive, with a whole ten minutes of training and that was it - up we went! If I had to do it alone, I would have backed out, but once you are hooked up to the instructor there is no turning back. Very cool and a definite must for everyone!!

Not unless you have a medical condition, school folks are gonna ask about any such disease, I heard heart can stop by just looking at someone ;), never heard that happening while skydiving. I am sure you can do it. Go girl.

Congratulations Pakprncess786. It's gonna be a blast. Select a school whose tandem masters have done a lot of jumps, plus jump from a higher altitude (13000/14000/14500 feet) and make sure you have it on video. All of the schools are gonna give you a briefing, be attentive, don't eat any oily/greasy food and make sure you smile at the camera while in freefall and grab a certificate from school for your achievment.
Let us know how it goes.

Well, the problem is that all this insurance I pay in my regular life (health insurance, and stuff) that is important to have, get put on hold automatically if they found out I went sky diving. Kind of weird, but they consider it "risky behavior" .. People sleep around all the time, and that is not considered "risky behavior" even if that is FAR more risky than jumping out of an airplane...

;-), you don't need any insurance, all you need is a good parachute. BTW I have all the troubles while driving my car, not that I am a bad driver ;-), while there are just a couple of scary moments in my skydiving career.

I totally agree! Except I just found out that my health insurance, my disability insurance, and my life insurance are all abrogated for one year if they ever found out I went skydiving... I am sooo torn!
