well slavery has many forms some of which the slavery of children when they are used as jockeys in camel races, as house servants in upper class affluent households, as sex workers in brothels. Other forms are the slavery of women simply their lack of reasonable, not to say equal, reasonable rights in our societies, also the way they are used to market products and also physical and mental abuse. Therefore slavery exist in all countries in all parts of the world and I'd say the Arab world has a big share of it, let's not hide behind the khaliji excuse :(
