A friend and I are sersiously considering a career move. We both are generally unhappy with our current career tracks and are considering taking up our passion as a small business. Although it will take a long time, if ever, to become successful we are still willing to put in the long hours etc. We figure that our 20's is the best time to try it, if ever, because of the financial support our parents can currently provide. Both of us are single and don't have family or inlaws to hold us back either. We could completely devote our time/energies into the business.

What we wanted to know is if anyone has ever tried this and if they would recommend it for others.
