How will you get your Star Trek fix? Anyone read the novels, for example? Do you think it'll be back? Which was your favorite series or episode out of them all?

I think it was the third season when people really lost interest in Enterprise, when they started on that whole Xindi story line, I mean it was great but they stretched it out a little bit, plus some of the acting was too brash or too light at times (in my opinion) but it was still a great link in the whole Trek story line. N e ways I am still watching TNG on Spike (they even air that on late Friday night).

by the way, when i said 'i'd have loved to have been in the crew of that set' i meant the movie production crew. not to be confused with the imaginary ship's crew. i'm not that twisted.

i'll try and address multiple posts widely with this. first, i suggest anyone who wants to collect the dvds to just burn them from a net flix account. in ten years our dvds will be obsolete anyway. if the feds bust down your doors while you're doing it, let me know so i can delete this post, and you're on your own. second, QUANTAM LEAP ROCKED and his name is Scott Bakula (like Count Dracula). Third, if you don't remember Galaxy Quest, you didn't see it. I'd have loved to have been in the crew of that set. I loved it when Tim Allen told the boy that the ship was real, and the boy whispers loudly: "I knew it!" Watch the movie. Trust me. Annnd...I didn't seen the finale of Enterprise cause...well, I don't watch television, but I'll take your word for it.

I loved Futurama. I can't remember what happened before it was cancelled but that show was so much fun.

I actually liked Galaxy Quest, to me it seemed an affirmation of the following of the wholeStar Trek fan base. I am not sure if any of you watch Futurama (cancelled animation from the creators of Simpsons). Anyways they had an episode on the whole Star Trek fanfare. They actually got all the original people to voice their guest characters on that one epsiode of Futurama. If you get a chance you should watch it.

oh yes Galaxy Quest. I don't remember if I actually saw it but I remember hearing about that. thanks for the clarification. little slow here sometimes. :)

Yes, Enterprise is finishing its 4th season as we speak and is canceled after this year - stars the "Quantum Leap" guy on UPN.

tim taylor wasn't in Star Trek, he was in a hilarious movie that sort of spoofed star trek called Galaxy Quest.

i enjoyed the 60's series because it would play at like 4am when i had insomnia. they were short morality plays that were easy to digest. the new generation series kept me tuned in, mainly because i was a big time couch potato in highschool. voyager also seemed cool, but i was in college at that time and rarely got a chance to see it. i heard there was a new startrek with the quantum leap guy...but i think this was just a rumor. the pinnacle of startrek would have to be wrath of khan...or that movie with tim "the tool man" taylor.

I am thinking of buying all the TNG DVD's, I mean that was obviously my favorite series it comes on Spike TV (if anyone is interested). I actually liked the Enterprise series but obviously its off air so too bad. I think that we needed time off from Star Trek too, I think its absence may make us appreciate it more
