So sad when this sort of thing happens....On the tube yesterday I saw everyone reading the articles and the pics...

unfortunately when a small bunch of muslims act this way we all get stereotyped.

inthamix this is DEFINITELY our country.. some of us were born here.. some have lived here the mjority of our lives.. as long as we're standing on British soil we have as large a stake (and say) here as anyone else....last time *i* checked, my mummy was not forcing me to live here so this is my choice, and while i want to be here, my country.... and this country is more open minded and inclusive than france or america.... but unfortunately they choose to extend that generosity to mullah subversives/ wannabe terrorists too....................the thing that p***ed me off most about hizb ut tahrir/ al muhajiroun/ whatever name change theyre hiding behind these days is their BNP-like talent for preying on the fears of minorities... 'kill all ***s wherever you may find them' for instance was quoted 20 times in 1 year to me.. out of context.... as if wanting to see that religious group dead is gonna solve everyone's problems because there will be more room here for the likes of us.... sickos

Begsy 'stupid un-educated, ignorant low-lives' I agree... if any of you had to put up with their extremist version of islam at uni like i did.. you'll realise their literature and speeches usually betray how idiotic and uniIslamic their beliefs are.... they need to get back into their banana boats and paddle back to their pinds... who are you all voting for by the way.... i'd like to see ppl give a protest vote for the lib dems as the other 2 parties bleat on and on about how important going to war against Muslim countries is every time they get a chance to bomb one to bits....

It?s a sad isn?t it, the repercussions are huge.

Although I think judgements should be left to the higher power, subconsciously its hard not to think how this manipulative minority has interpreted the Quran/Islam to their own ideologies.

These people should be pitied

Jfem makes a really good point, Muslims definitely need to engage more providing a more valid picture.

People like this make me cringe and want to vomit... Did you know that Sheikh Omar Bakri, his wife and his seven kids have survived on government handouts for the last 18 years?

Media portrays the muslim world in such a bad way. What angers me even more is asian actors who actually accept such roles!

This is why it's important for more liberal/progressive muslims to assert their identities by engaging in public life. For many non-muslims this will be the only face of Islam that they see. It's the same concern I had when 'East is East' came out depicting a controlling wife-beating muslim guy with another wife back home in Pakistan.

if they are so bothered about being islamic why dont they go and live in a islamic country....cant live with the dole/housing benefits that this stoopid country gives so freely.our taxes support these fanatics.i cant stand iqbal sacranie anyway he is a complete hypocrite ;o)

hahaha, morons. They need to get out of the UK. I'm proud of being British Asian, very grateful for my freedom of lifestyle and belief in the UK that I wouldn't get if I was living in some backward nation (ie: Saudi Arabia). Losers need 2 get outta the UK and make space for asylum seekers who NEED asylum in the UK.

Its a shame they speak so much about Islam, yet have no understanding of Islam, simply rhetoric to gain the attention of the misplaced youth who want to be islamic but cannot identify what being Islamic actually entails.

These stupid un-educated, ignorant low-lives of society should be lined up and shot!..Their little minds just cannot grasp the bigger picture and we have to suffer as a result. Just when you think the whole muslim extremism issue has died down slowly.
