So, um, wait til next season I guess

Hey all,

If you're like me, you're bummed out by the loss to the gay Panthers yesterday. What the hell happened to our defense?! We were #1 in the league and all of a sudden the Panthers get more yards in the first half than we've ever given in an entire game this season. The cornerbacks played like crap, and Mike Brown's injury really hurt the secondary. In any event, you would think that after the first quarter the Bears' defensive coordinator (Ron Rivera) might think about focusing on defending againt Smith and Proehl. But I guess addressing the obvious was too much to ask.

Man, I don't know what to say. Maybe next year Grossman will get more experience under his belt (assuming he stays healthy) and will be less jittery in the playoffs.

Bah, phooey!!

Grossman was encouraging. The offense generated 21 points against Carolina without aid from the defense on any of those scores. Holding Rex out completely against Minnesota was an error - he should have played the 1st quarter.
