Social Security Plan
Hey everyone!
I wanted your input about Bush's social security plan. He was here in Columbia yesterday pushing it at the State House. I watched it, and I didn't think he said much about his plan. He is open to suggestions, including Senator Lindsay Graham from SC... He has gotten some bad press from some Pacs..
I think long term his personal accounts plan will not work. He wants us as young people to invest in the stock market in a variety of accounts.. But, the stock market isn't the safe. It plunged 200 points last week. It will end up costing us more money in the long run to do these personal accounts.. Most of these politicans have certain groups lobbying for them and influencing their decision. They are giving this image to people that we are looking into the problem "symbolic reassuance." It really bothers me that people can't see how corrupt these politicans are, and there is little one or two people can do to change the system. It is a revolving door of politics..

amount that would go to administration under the bush plan 30%.
thats gonna make alot of rich people richer. and probably won't do much for the people who will be depending on it for their retirement.
