Ok perhaps I was too judgmental in my last comment I too have heard example of people being healed back to a relatively normal life after conventional medicine had given up hope. But could it not be a biological anomaly? A persons will to live and fight the ailment might be a factor. Or could it not be a numbers game? Lets say one in 10,000 people beats terminal cancer and the person miraculously healed just happen to the that 1 person who defies the odds.
In any case spiritual healing is not a religion specific phenomenon, since there have been and still are religious healers in Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Buddhist among other faiths. If it god that heals though Men, then god does not care about the healers faith, Hindu, Muslim Christian and Sikh all are blessed with the healing powers, this makes we wonder if god really care about what religion a person belongs to, and that organized religion might me a creation of Men to enforce social and moral norms.

I'm still not too sure about some of the terminology such as Sheikhs and baba's. (I'm a revert.) I really don't know what these terms mean exactly, but I do believe in faith healing. I was raised Pentecostol, its a Christian denomination with well know leaders such as Billy Graham and Oral Roberts. Faith Healing takes a strong role in this religion. I will acknowlege that sometimes these healing are scams, but not all the time. God still does use people to heal others. My mother had cancer and when it was discovered it was in its advanced stages. She had 36 of her lumphnodes removed, she was given 2 years to live. That was 14 years ago and she is still cancer free. Prayer changes things. There are countless reports to tell. The important thing to understand that the healing is done by God and not by man. If someone is looking for some type of compensation ...walk away.

Well they are our culture?s witchdoctors; I am flabbergasted that people still believe in this crapp in this day an age!
