*SPOILER* R.A.B mystery solved?


I was reading on some forum that R.A.B could possibly be Regalus Black (Sirius's bro who used to be a death eater but then turned good again and died later on). I think it definately is him because in OoTP when the Weasleys are cleaning out Sirius's house, there's a small mention of a locket that Mrs. Weasley couldn't get to open! (the real horcrux). Also, J.K. makes a point of mentioning one of Sirius's uncles who was good to him and gave him cash or something whose name started with an A. Could Regalus's middle name possibly be that of the uncle?

Nabilay, I dont know if he will go back for that book. He has this deep prejudice against snape, and now that he knows he is the half blood prince...he may have that same prejudice against his book.

Farah, I'm sure Harry went back to get his wand and cloak. It's just one of those things that doesn't explicitly need to be written. However, will he go back to get the HBP's potions book from that cabinet?

I agree with you. I do thing it is Regulus. I also think there is more to this snape theory. After all Dumbledore trusted him. I think he was not pleading for life, but rather death. That is why I think he was angry at harry fro calling him a coward.

speaking of an end... I was still wondering if harry ever went back to the tower to retrieve his invisible cloak and if he ever got his wand back from the castle grounds!!! I don't remember any mention of either later on! I just remember him struggling to find the wand on the grass when snape was attacking him! dude!!! is Harry ever gonna learn Occlumency??? Shouldn't he learn his lesson by now and like seriouslyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy learn to block out his thoughts, and start reading others???????

well, I thoguht I raed something about Regalus Black in book # 6 too... way in the beginning before this locket and RAB was mentioned... I forget where. I was too bz trying to get to the end :(

But lets not forget that Mundungus is on Harry's bad list now! That also gives a plot. Not only that, but if Dung took it he could have already sold it which means Harry will have to go on a quest, aren't they always important?

Samanz, that's a good one! Otherwise she probably wouldn't have mentioned that Mundungus stole stuff. What other purpose could it have served to mention that?

As far as I can remember, they were just clearing out everything for the garbage and Kreacher was trying to take things back from the garbage and hide them in his little attic. Maybe he hid the locket too?

OMG! That's really good! I think you're right but what did Mrs. Weasley do with the locket? Anyone remember? Someone is borrowing my book five! UGH! It's moments like this when you need to read the book!
