STAGE Call for Actors!
STAGE's flagship event, The Festival of One-Acts, needs you!
We have picked four unique scripts and have scheduled auditions for the casts of this play. Don't miss your chance to be part of great production, to be performed in the well-reputed Clarice Performing Arts Center. No prior experience required. This is an amazing opportunity to showcase your talents! You do not need to memorize anything for the auditions. Auditions are at Flashpoint DC (Mead Theatre Lab)

I shall be directing one of the plays this fall, an adaptation of the novel _Wooden Dolls_ (1960's timeframe). For this play we're seeking two lead characters of South Indian descent:
1 Female, aged 19-23 with slight accent
1 Male in his 30's with prominent accent, perhaps mixed with British
If you are interested and either can or cannot make the auditions, contact me anyway. Prior acting experience is preferred, but not required. The play is approx. 20 pages in length.
Three more plays are also open for auditioning...looking for people of various demographic backgrounds (I'm just able to give you insight with the one I am working on). This is a great opportunity to get involved in a local theatre group and express your artistic creativity.
Dates for the performances have not been set yet, but will either be the first or second weekend in December.
