step 2 CS - are u kidding?!
hey salaamz..
i just took the step 2 clinical skills in philly yesterday, and all i have to say is, are you kidding?!! 12 patient encounters, 8 hours. i can't say it was a waste of time, b/c it really is like seeing pts in real life, but its just a LOOONG day. we probably just shoulda done more of that in med school and then wouldn't have needed this. some comments/questions were totally funny though, like "am i going to die doctor?". also, i can't believe i had to pay $950 for it, plus traveling expenses. why couldn't they have just made this requirement one yr later?!!!! anyway, for you underclassmen/women...something to look fwd to ;)
