oh, and since i am talking about babies, here's one bit of advice... DO PILATES BEFORE YOU GET KNOCKED UP and from DAY ONE, start with the cocoa butter all over, esp on tummy... it'll keep your skin soft and supple, and you wont get itchy as much from the skin stretching.

oh and the growth spurt ones fade somewhat too... the pregnancy ones do as well, but i heard it's genetic, if your mom is a tiger, then most likely youll become one too when you have a baby...

ok.

so my daughter is playing with my tummy the other day (i have it pierced - incentive to do crunches i guess) and she points to my stretch marks and says.... "mama...you need to get rid of those."

ok. i have them from being 212 lbs at pregnancy... they faded from pink to a really light shade...

my friend recommends that for overall body glowing....get those body scuffing gloves and get in the tub adn do a DRY SCRUB to totally exfoliate...shower as normal (use wet gloves if you want or loofah)...then after you pat dry, use PALMER'S COCOA BUTTER OIL all over, then top with PALMER'S STRETCH MARK cream...

this is supposed to keep you nice and beautiful-- this friend recommends this to do ALWAYS, if you plan on getting married soon and want your skin to glow, if your pregnant, etc...

and yes it works on old stretch marks...she had her kid 4 yrs ago....and it worked

me and my coworker actually had this conversation on friday...she had some scary stretch marks..it looked like a brain on her stomach #: ..anyhows she tried everything...even some cream that cost $100 a bottle and didnt work....finally someone told her about this Avon cream for stretch marks...its in a purple container...and they literally started disappearing in about a month!...she showed me...im a believer...lol...check it out...it doesnt even cost much...hope i helped

I have some too and the worse part is that my boyfriend even points them out to me...uhhh..

But I think coco butter helps..not sure. I will have to look for sometime ;)
