Suggestions


Salam! I'm going to AZ for winter break iA and would like to know if anyone has any suggestions as to were to go! I'll be in the Scottsdale/Tempe area...last few times I've been there I usually spend my time at the mall, mainly the Paradise Valley one, the library and I've been to the Middle Eastern Resturant next to the Tempe Masjid...I'll be there for at least 3 weeks iA, so I need more places to go lol Also, From previous posts I've seen that mashallah you guys have a good bit of Islamic activities going on...is there anything particular going on b/w the 21th and the 4th? I'd love to attend...

CAIR doesn't normally organize such social activies. it was actually more of and ICC thing i think. and its for people of all ages. there were families as well as college students and professionals there.

I saw trail rides on the north parts of scottsdale road, does that mean there are places for horseback riding, I am sure there could be. Check yahoo Yello pages, and put the zip code of the area that u will stay in or ur staying in, and search for horse back riding

Sorry, but i have yet another question. hehe

Does anyone know of a nice place to go horseback riding? A place that has the horses and the trail. Also, if you guys know the prices, that would be awsome.

Amoori, yeah may check out the chandler mall, was just at paradise valley mall today...the only sheesha places in tempe that i know of is the oasis cafe, which someone mentioned here...so i'll go there next week iA when my sister and her hubby come...there is also a muslim family bowling night thing going on tomm (the 25th) at 5 pm in chandler...somewhere on Ray rd.

Theres also this park, i went there a couple of yrs ago cause they had an eid picnic there...they have paddle boats and stuff...it's a nice place to chill beeders...i'll prob go there this week iA

I wish I knew abt this village a week ago.. lol.. I was just in Tempe/Mesa...

of course, I hit the malls, Fiesta Mall and Arizona Mills... I missed the Chandler Mall tho... );

U need to check chandler mall, the sheesha places In tempe, but I am not sure its ur cup of Tea also. The phoenix suns are not bad entertainment also.
