Hello Folks,

Well i am going to Pakistan this summer and would like to get involved in an organization that works with literacy. Most of the organizations i have come across are for people in the health care field and thats really not me.

So if anyone knows of a school or organization in Pakistan that is open to volunteers that would be great,

Citizen's Foundation... & a bunch more that escape me at the moment, msg me and I can get you in touch with a couple ppl who're currently working abroad in Karachi and Islamabad.

depends where in Pakistan you are. I worked w/ one in Islamabad and in Karachi.

I know an organization based out of Houston that works with literacy in pakistain I will look to see if I can find the name for you but I know it exists and it started by a group of women they have been doing work for sometime I think.

it is a youth-based org that provides free educ to karachi's underpriveledged kids.
