Hello Folks,

Well i am going to Pakistan this summer and would like to get involved in an organization that works with literacy. Most of the organizations i have come across are for people in the health care field and thats really not me.

So if anyone knows of a school or organization in Pakistan that is open to volunteers that would be great,

Try checking out the Citizens Foundation website. Send them your resume but I think it would would work better if you got in touch with them over the phone. There are a few other organisations as well. Are you only willing to work with children and education...there are others as well who could do with your help?

Same here...i'm going(inshaAllah) this summer as well, and instead of making it solo vacation travel, i'd like to get involved in some organizational work in Pakistan.
If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.
