Suni's are losers


As a Sunni, I must say sunnis are devoid of a sense of history. They think the sun rises and sets in thier ass, and Yasid is a fairy tale villan. The whole reason for fundamentalism today is because a) Sunnis didn't bother to realize that there is a politisization of a sunnized version of history and that its homogenized to suit the majority. b) Shia's need to be more literary oriented than oral-tradition focused.

My two cents.

i love t-dog. :) I think she is more of a "strong" woman with solid convictions rather than "stubborn". ;)

i say "converted" because i do not believe that we are all born Muslim. I was Catholic and I converted to Islam... so I am a convert. :) If I had muslim relatives, I'd say I was a revert - but I do not consider myself one as I am from a very Christian-only background.

YES, BUT THE BIBLE HAS IT WRITTEN ABOUT THE LAST PROPHET AND ISLAM, THIS IS WHY THE CHRISTIANS WILL GET AWARDS FOR GOOD DEEDS BUT HEAVEN IS NOT THAT BIG TO LET EVERYONE IN,,,,, ONLY PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF WHO HAVE ACCEPTED ISLAM WILL GO TO HEAVEN IF THEY CARRY ON DOING GOOD!!

misslondon - i don;t believe that the purpose of life is to try to get to heaven - i believe it is to serve God and in doing so, be a good person. I converted because I found truth in Islam, not for heaven... and I do not believe in converting others. Every person has to find his/her own path to God. (I'll help them if they ask of course). And I do not think that all non-muslim gori's will not go to heaven... Christianity is a great religion in a lot of ways and teaches good morals... and in the end, it is the same God.

ANYWAY,,, I DON;T THINK ITS RIGHT FOR SUNNI AND SHIA PEOPLE TO GO ON AND ON ABOUT WHOSE THE LOSERS,,,,

AT THE END OF THE DAY, ON JUDGEMANT DAY ALL MUSLIMS, WHETHER SHIA, SUNNI, AGAR KHAN, AHMADI, NAQSHABANDI WILL ALL BE PUT INTO ONE SECTION AND THEN EVERYONE WILL BE JUDGED INDEPENDENTLY!!!!

ALSO, AS SHIRRK IS HARRAM IN ISLAM AND ITS THE BIGGEST SIN CREATED, SOME SECTS I HAVE NAMED ABOVE ARE ACTUALLY CLASSIFIED AS NON MUSLIMS NOW, SO THEY WILL BE PUT IN OUR SECTION THEM IN FIRE!!!!

We should remember that we're all Muslims. There are 1 billion of us in the world Mashallah. If we all united, imagine how strong we would be!

We should not call a whole sect losers! It doesn't matter if the person using the term is a member of that sect.

It's good to educate e/o & learn from one a/o.
Khiladi, thanx for all that info!

We shouldn't condemn others or ourselves b/c of the some ppl.'s ignorance or lack of knowledge of Islamic history.

Hey, everyone commenting with the "don't call sunni's losers" please STOP! I'm one of you, and ask you to _please_ read above and note that the thread is from a sunni. It is not from a shi'a, and the shi'a started their own thread to address the point mentioned above. Lets hash it out sweetly, like our Prophet (S) would, shan't we?

I am from the Shia and don?t understand why do we have to call others ?losers? for the fact that they are just ?different? than us? I do agree that not too many Shias think as you do, but that is not a relief. It is, also, true that many Whabies are attacking the Shia and assume them as a ?Godless group?, but we must not follow their task of hurting others and killing. We are so strong and so logical, and have a true philosophical and logical proves to what we believe of (and it is not very different than Sunnis though) and we ought to fight in that respect only.
