Supplications of a fasting person
The supplication of a fasting person is accepted immediately because Allah's mercy is inclined towards his servant in such a state (ie. fasting)
In the light of some Ahadith, it is merely manifested that the most appropriate time for the acceptance of supplications is Iftar, but at that time we remain fully absorbed in eating and drinking and do not avail of this opportunity.
Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said:
During each day and night of Ramadan, Allah sets free a great number of souls from hell and for every Muslim, during each day and night, at least one supplication is certainly accepted.

“This is the month the first part of which brings Allâh’s mercy, the middle of which brings His forgiveness and last of which brings freedom from the fire of Jahannam.” The doors of Jannah are open while the doors of Jahannam are shut. Allâh’s mercy abounds. He calls out every day and night. “Is there anyone begging of Me so that I may grant him his heart’s desire?”
