66% is rather high! I'm thinking about writing to the newspaper about Islam and all the good things about it. I don't know if it will get printed, but I'm sick of people putting it down when they don't even know the facts. Ugh, ignorant twits :P

but i do hope you change ur opinion of muslims (most).

it is trurly heart breaking to see the state of the ummah, but if we dont believe in ourselves and hold a negative view of ourselves how can we do any better?

one of the ways that Malcolm X gained such momentum and change was because he taught the people to love themselves. to love their heritage, to love their history, their true religion: Islam.

Same applies here. The blacks were a mess in America, working for the whites sometimes even against blacks they were corrupet, drug traffickers, criminals and so forth. But only through a wave of changing the mood and the desire to do better did he achieve so much.

I accept our Problems. But I would never go far as to say i dislike most muslims.

I wouldn't blame MSN - they're just taking a measure. It's not a popularity contest - artificially forcing the score won't prove anything. This just goes to show that the fundos are winning - it's their vision of Islam that is being passed on and that's why the moderate majority should be challenging them publicly on every point they make - rather than getting all defensive and grumbling about the Western media. It's no surprise people have aa negative view of Islam when the voice of reason in islam stays so silent on every frickin' issue while the fundo nutters rant on long and loud. Hell, if I didn't know better I'd have a negative view of Islam! As it is, I just have a negative view of (most) Muslims.
