Sweet Retro

On my 30th Birthday I went out for dinner in a posh restaurant in Mayfair with friends. As a special treat for my friends I put together little party bags filled with retro sweets. You know the kind, like candy bracelets and necklaces, whistle lollies, black jacks, fruit salads, pear drops, anaseed twists, chocolate mice, sherbert straws, wham! bars hubba bubba gum, rhubarb and custard, cola bottles and sherbert spaceships! And just to think all those sweeties used to cost a penny each or less back in the 70's lol WOW

The days of going to the sweetshop, pointing to a huge jar on the shelf and saying 'I'll have a quarter (of a pound in weight) of that please' are long gone... *sigh* However, at least you can relive your childhood through Aquarterof.com www.aquarterof.co.uk
