My name is Ali Taraban, I am a 23 year old Syrian man who has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I have had extensive Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy, to try and kill my cancer.

Unfortunately, my disease has not been contained by Chemothereapy alone. I now need a bone marrow transplant to save my life and I am asking you for your help.

I am looking for a suitable donor of a similar racial or ethnic background. The Islamic Center of Irvine (ICOI) and the American Red Cross will join together Wednesday March 8, 2006, between 3:00 - 9:00 p.m., to sponsor a blood drive.
