Tainted Love

I wake with your smell
upon my skin

Rumpled sheets
with stains of sin

Dishevelled hair
and marks of lust;
Pleasure
tainted
with feelings of pain.

A confused mind
and a tormented soul

Another erotic night
Takes its toll.

Alright then..why dont women leave abusive situations?
Your other poems..they are about someone..thats why i was saying get over it. I assumed this was on the same wavelength..sorry.

Women do get abused, but so do men. Thats one thing I never got, logically speaking there has to be good and bad on both sides. I mean why does the man always have to "take it like a man?" I mean why isn;t there a mens studies class..or is there one? I dont know. Anyways back to the question,

why dont women leave abusive situations?

You really write well I must say. The vivid pictures woven into words hit the reader hard. In my view, "confused mind" is the most powerful symbol in this poem. The very essence of the drift between sin, pleasure and realization rests on the constant banging in the mind, confusion to some, senses trying to break free to others.

Allah kare zorr e qalam aur zayada !
