i didn't know any of the speakers going in ... dozed off during tariq's talk :) david woke me up with a great talk, although fairly incomplete (how much content can one fit into 20 minutes ? ) bhairavi seemed like a super awesome person, i had no idea all this stuff was going on with nyc cab drivers !

for those who went, what did u think?

i was very impressed by all the panelists. both david harvey and tariq ali have had great impact on my thinking about problems such as globalization, so it was wonderful to hear them speak (tariq though was ill and was simply there on video).
