Does anyone know of any good tea rooms in nyc? I know of the Harlem Tea Room, but haven't been there. Is it any good, would you recommend it?

A great casual place is Tea & Sympathy in the West Village. It's about the size of a postage stamp, so not ideal for groups. But their jasmine tea and scones are amazing.

Russian tea room closed down years ago.

try..russian tea room in midtown on 5th ave...or they may have closed down...

try this cafe on (village by NYU)McDougal st right between mamoons and the comedy club...its says cafe..but the serve all sorts of exotic teas as well...
try their jasmine tea....out of this world...

The Waldorf Astoria serves a wonderful tea from 3pm onwards. Pot of tea + multiple level tray of sandwiches and deserts. Very classy but also quite expensive.
