Most people mistake temptation for the actual act of sin. The enticement to sin does not necessarily mean that the act of sin must follow. The fact is, temptation involves a process through which our hearts, minds, and bodies are preparing for the act of sin. By interrupting this process one can stop the growing temptation dead in its tracks. For example temptation can begin with something as simple as a glance and once the image is set in our mind, then as the human beings have a free will, can make a choice, whether to continue with this desire or not? Sin doesn?t happen immediately. It is the result of a process.
Ramadan is the best time to test your limits of being tempted. So far I'm failing to get tempted. Maybe my tolerance level is just SO high. I mean, I can't even be bothered to sneak out in the back of the garden and have a smoke, hoping the Bg Bearded Lady up stairs won't notice (fat chance of not getting caught by Her). Maybe it's because I'm currently at home with the folks, but I shall be in London this weekend, staying over at a certain friend's place ;) ... I'll have my limits tested then...

I feel as though I'm just waffling, with no raheel purpose now. I've just had dhaal, therefore I'm "full of beans", so to speak.

hahaha, I read the comments; jeez there's too much talk about sex, but not enough talk about chocolate cake. Boy. kids today just haven't got their priorities straight... you kids are weird!
I guess its when u feel the guilt........like damn its 2late now...cannot go back
now if u do it again and again, it just becomes second nature.......after a while u dont feel.. nothing..........u may know its wrong.......but by now u r indifferent!
although, by some definitions, visualization/ imagination is bad enough. ...similar to the logic by which listening to music is discouraged in Islam, maybe....b/c it fuels the imagination....which is the beginning of temptation?
