Ten Forward

Welcome to Ten Forward!

Ten Forward is a lounge located at the tip of the saucer section of the USS Enterprise E. Crew members gather here to sit back, relax, share thoughts and mingle... Sometimes they just stare out into space and star gaze from one of the lounge's gigantic windows. Just don't piss off any Klingons while you're here.

I was going to paste an away mission about Ten Forward I found online, but that'd be too geeked out...even for me.

well perhaps the point was that you cannot replicate the human touch. or whatever species you may be talking about :)
ice creaaam. I'm sorry. I'm still on that :)
yes I remember what you're talking about. :)
the ice cream incident. don't remember the meat incident but that does sound a bit odd :)

yeah, that was a stupid point. there was one time when laforge is talking about meat (it might've been someone else), and someone's like, 'real meat?' that was actually kinda scary. for all their utopian perfection, the characters seem to suffer from a nostalgia for the authentic. is that a commentary on the way humanity is going today?

ah yes, the replicator.
ice creaaam.
sorry. it's so easy to get distracted when it comes to replicators :)
and then there was Neelix. why do you need an expert cook if you have a replicator? why am I still thinking about food.. hmm. Well, guess even replicators couldn't mass produce the kind of unique dishes that a 'sentient being'/chef may be able to make.
