but as calires says, palestinians, kashmiris, bosnians, iraqis (nowadays) and afghanis (some of the time) don't fall into this category - they were / are desperately fighting against genocide/ maltreatment/ unfair laws/ occupation .. even though i'm a bit of a pacifist and believe you can sort most things out diplomatically .. in most of these cases there seems/ seemed to be no peaceful resolution to their woes.
