3 tb Melted butter
16 shrimp, cleaned and deveined
1/2 - 1 bunch cilantro

i cup of lobster or oyster mushrooms chopped
juice of 1 lime
1/2 - 1 tsp. crushed red pepper

a few stalks of lemongrass (I would use

Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a saucepan.
Add flour.
Cook, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
Add 3 cups boiling milk all at once and whisk until smooth.simmer, covered, 1 hour.
Put chilis, green onions, redpepper, cilantro, lime juice, and snow peas, and mushrooms into the fish/chicken broth and simmer for 20 min in a separate pot, along with shrimp, crab, lobster (be sure to time the second mixture to coincide with the completion of the first so start cooking it after the 1st has been simmering for 30-40 min.)
Add lemongrass to the broth fifteen min before it finishes.
Mix the two together in one pot gradually while stirring.
Bring to a boil and add cream
Heat to boiling and add 3 tablespoons cream.
reduce heat and serve.

feel free to ad Nuc Mam to the soup.
this goes great with roti, nan, and injarrah

soy is a weak substitute for fish sauce. its people dont like it if they are eating it when its not mixed in with something else. usually in soups or curry the odor is impossible to detect.

Noor, this isnt a curry recipe. Its a fusion recipe. Bisque is a soup. Nam Plah is a salty fish sauce. You have to use it sparingly. Im not sure but I think it is very similar to Nuc Mam.

Ifrit, what's nam plah? I've cooked some Thai curries but haven't seen this ingredient before.

btw choco, you can always substitute a little coconut milk. that goes really well. just a couple of splashes for the whole batch.

you could always leave the lemongrass out. besides you dont actually EAT the lemongrass in this one, its just for a little flavor and garnish.
