Wow.... tough question. I can't even begin to go there. There's this movie from the early 80's (I believe) with Shashi Kapoor and Smita Patel called "Ghungroo" which is great. It's near the top of my list.

My first film was Kaalia as well and no movie can take that spot. But, my all time fav Indian movie is Sholay! Every time I watch it, it's like watching a new movie for me.

MUQADAR KA SIKANDAR...parinda is also a family favorite in our house...i like most movies that have a nana patekar in them...he's freaky but a great actor..
i still think devdas is up there...it had all the right elements and it had a madhuri :)
aside from that...there are a lot of movies i like...but my fav's are parinda, khalnayak, veer zaara, ram lakhan...ram lakhan is def one of my favs...and if we go back further...i can never get sick of umrao jaan, silsila, kabhi kabhi and if we go back further in time...every movie with a raj kapoor and nargis is mind-blowing (barsaat, aah, chori chori, all 50's and 60'smovies)
