yeah, i would even recommend turning your studying down a notch, 8-10 hours/day might be overkill unless that is normal for you...remember that your DATs are not the only thing that the admission committees will be looking at, as long as you are getting 17+, 3.5+ gpa, and have either done research or have worked with a dentist, you should be getting enough interviews, and from there, its up to your personality...remember, the most important thing is not to burn yourself out taking the DATs, i did that the first time i took them, and ended up not doing as well as i would have liked to have done, but i paced myself better the second time, and did better...save the burning yourself out for dental school itself :)

you'll do fine. breathe. practice practice practice. breathe. I dunno where you want to end up, but when I was at Tufts I was on the admissions committee for 3 out of 4 years, and as a guidline, as long as you're not getting below a 17, you're not hurting yourself. If you can get above a 20, then you're helping yourslef. breathe, breathe, and breathe some more.

you sound like ur doing the right thing. if you see your scores on the practice tests keep going up, that means that you should still be studying. make sure you focus your energies so that you can learn the greatest amount of "stuff" in the least amount of time. eg... if learning a certain chemical rxn is going to take 2 hours, and it isn't a main chemical rxn, forget it. spend that time learning something else that will yield greater results. (i keep telling myself these same things as i attempt to study for boards). good luck.

what resources are you using and how much are you studying a day? bottom line: make a gameplan to cover the material and stick to it (i'm telling myself the same thing for boards). and then tell all your ppl to drop some dua for you.
