Village Journals help
Resonate your identity with Naseeb journals. Express your opinions, share your thoughts, post your writings and connect with like minded people through the power of expression.

The half-way, the almost, the just-about, the in-between. I despise them all.

"The spread of evil is the symptom of a vacuum. whenever evil wins, it is only by default: by the moral failure of those who evade the fact that there can be no compromise on basic principles."

Ayn Rand, Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal, 1966

What do you think? :)

Zztopp! I had heard or read men were not good at multitasking :)

Waaaish is used when somebody is hurt, in pain, burnt etc. Can be positive or negative depending upon the context and how you use it :)

I am relaxed? *:

Heck I am not ! I am trying to get done with it fast !

And yes, I am very efficient at multi-tasking too - plus it helps that being a computer science researcher, I can multi-task on my laptop itself (both research and goofing off...ah, thank the lord for multiple IE windows) (H)

Bilal! You are right! I am avoiding discussions that require brains these days. My brain has been consumed by mergers and acquisitions :)

Zztopp! My overactivity on naseeb is negatively proportional to the speed of my work :)
So you can tell things are pretty hard these days.
How's yours coming along? You seem to be so relaxed. I envy you.

P.S If Waaaaaaish is a compliment, thanks :)

Bilal: Jem is Aa22. i dont know who he is either. I have asked him but he hasnt replied yet :)

that kind of perfection and idealistic standards r only possilbe in a perfectly homogeneous world. liked that. and good and evil r subjective. true. how come ft's 5 gold medals didnt teach her that? ;)

Perfect freedom in itself is an absolute rule; I believe in the qualified ones. Perfect freedom to me means no regulation whatsoever ? which is what you do when you assume yr markets can be perfect. But that?s not possible. You would have noticed that capitalism eventually translates into survival of the fittest. We need to differentiate philosophy & practicality here. Can good ever be good enuf to eliminate evil? No. That?s why we need to regulate & monitor.

Not just that, gud & evil are not always antonyms. The direction of gud & bad can be different; & not every evil can be eliminated by the gud. Let's take the example of freedom of speech. Lets say every1 in the world is allowed to say anything. What wud happen? I would say sumthing that is 'gud for Jem, Bila wud say sumthing which is 'evil' for FT. That?s because evil & gud can also be relative at times. Perfect freedom of speech maybe a gud idea in a perfectly homogonous world where the definition of evil is very clear to everyone. What I am actually trying to say here is; that even if gud is gud enuf, it wudnt necessarily eliminate evil because of 'relativity'?.. :)
