The Heart and Soul of Religion
You know the soul is a beautiful thing...why do people abuse thier hearts and souls? Religion (in my opinion) is means to purify your heart and soul and elevate them to a higher more pure level, so that you are able to grasp the true meaning of things and so that you can love and be loved with no boundries. Religion should enable you to reache a level where you reach absolute serenity and feel at peace.
I find it sad that people start to use religion as a tool to fool themselves and others. To provide a sense of comfort to reassure themselves that they are good people because they pray 5 times a day or go to Sunday Mass and whatever the jewish ceremony is called i don't know. Their body performs the religious tasks but their hearts don't. Can they call themselves religious? If you don't fear god in your daily life and your conduct are you religious?
My question is: what does religion mean to you? Is it a collection of duties that must be performed perfectly? Is it acceptable to not perfom it perfectly but with your heart fullly participating? what's your say? What's religion to you?

I don't think anyone can perform perfectly even in our hearts we can't be perfect. If Allah wanted he would have made every human being perfect but he didn't and that's why there is right and wrong, punishment and forgiveness.
