'The Horrific...' by Carl-Johan Vallgren
I've gone 'mad' again and splurged on a number of new books. I'm currently reading a book that was written by Carl-Johan Vallgren and has only recently been translated from Swedish:
'The Horrific Sufferings of the Mind-Reading Monster Hercules Barefoot His Wonderful Love and His Terrible Hatred'
The title is just stupendous.
I also thought that the cover was brilliant, it reminds me of banners used by circus's in a bygone age to advertise their 'AMAZING SIGHTS' which can also be referred to as 'freakshows'...
Humans cannot help but be fascinated by other humans, the more different they are, the bigger the fascination...
This book has really drawn me in from page one...
