Ok so since it's inception in the old shower/locker room of Cole, I've been a bit perturbed by that and the way it is being kept up (or not rather). If that's where the Musallah is going to remain for following years, i think it should be a lot better looking and cleaner. I know that our time has passed and the new kids should pick up where we left off, but even when we were studying, not many of us would have time for such a thing. The place needs a serious ambush makeover...any suggestions?

hey, when I was there, we were forced to share a room with the Gay and Lesbian Student Union in the Stamp Union. because nobody wanted to room with either group. we left a mess -- sheets all over the floor.

adjacent to hornbake? where? back in my day it was right along the mall in Holzapfel (sp)? just a carpeted room, comfy-cozy. u could come in, take a nap..*sigh*. eh, but the only reason i'm so hard up on wanting to keep it sanitary is that the msa did such wonderful things in my years (and continue to do so). i wanna pay it forward by giving back.

damn... when I was going to school, our masallah was in the building adjacent to Hornbake, across campus drive... I can't relate

and whoever is there currently, gimme a list of whatever you want/need in the musallah.

it's a cesspool. i just dropped in a while back...at least the girls bathroom was. i was appauled. no towels, broken light, water everywhere, and just realks of filth. i really wouldn't want non-muslims to see the musallah, it needs to be maintained. i'm up for donating cleaning products. as an alumnist, i think it's worthwhile for us to give back...anyone with me here?

i havent been there for a loooooooooong time! Maybe we can email the msa/mwm presidents and ask them what they need help with?
