the *new* Akshay Kumar


lord what is going on with him? all i've been reading is how he is 'top catch' in bollywood now. all his recent movies have been blockbusters, 'waqt' 'aitraaz' 'muhjse shaadi karogi.' I was just reading an article or review on Garam Masala and i read how john abraham got all peeved cuz the whole credit of the film went to Akshay kumar! I never personally liked him because he was protrayed as 'playa' so u know me obviously being girl my perception of him totally changed, but i guess i do give him credit from having a poor start to making it big now. He's coming with SRK in Farhan Akhtar's 'The Don." But i know for sure the credit for that one is going to SRK lol...no one comes close to him!

You know what movie I really liked Akshay in, Dharkan. Do you all remeber that with Shilpa Shetty and Sunil Shetty? The role he played in that movie was pretty HOT. Which man is that decent ever in real life? NONE!!

I hear someone mention Anil Kapoor...I loved his movie MR. INDIA...that movie was the best! I actually just saw it recently 4 yrs back. I grew up watching that movie...and Sri Devi, looked awesome. Mugambo kush howa..lol

he always had talent. from the very beginning he showed diversity in every single role. he just finally got his moment, it is hard to elbow in some space in the top 5 actors. the movie world is obnoxious. you know he's been doing movies for almost 15 years or something. he deserves the credit. i think he is hillarious. i just wish that directors chose better storylines and had smarter writing and more realistic plots, actors would shine even more.

That . . . pic . . . is the funniest . . . thing . . . I've ever seen! Akshay Kumar has always been radical; he does many if not all of his own stunts. He'll jump out of a plane; he'll jump off a building; he'll walk on his hands or smash a bottle on his face. Anyone who can do that has gotta be alright, as a person and as an actor.

i think every bollywood actor waxes their chest hair besides Anil Kapoor!!! oh my god i still remember that one scene in Judaii when sridevi was hugging him and u can see his back hair ugh!!!! lol

back in the day he was always wearing that stupid police uniform. then he got rid of that plus he waxed and he hasn't looked back since!

things changed for him once he started waxing his chest hair Sofs :) ....he's been around since like 1990 when he first starred in "Khiladi" with Ayesha Khulka...he's a hotty (even moreso in person) and he's def come a long way...
