yea reminds me of how the original Star Trek fans reacted to the The next Generation when it came out. I will continue watching and see how it turns.

Well, the original was a lot more dramatic and most adventures lasted a few episodes. It was never over in half an over. Maybe it will pickup as it goes along. The original show was one of the most popular sci fi shows on the BBC. Ran from 1963 - 1989. A toal of 8 actors played the part of Dr. Who. My favorites were Tom Baker (1974 - 1981) and Peter Davison (1982 - 1986)
I remember being afraid of the Daleks (evil creatures from the original) when I was little.
From what I understand, the first season is already over in the UK and is available on DVD. I was thinking of buying it.

I guess I was such a fan of the original I havent come to grips with the new one.
