The Power of the Pen
**In the name of God, the most Merciful, the most Kind**
The Power of the Pen
The ink of a pen...
Mightier than the sharpest sword
Through the mind, it does slice
Quickly and thoroughly, to a point that does suffice
It can be a poison to the healthiest mind
Or a relief to the oppressed
A bipolar institution
It is indeed mighty,
For the Creator Himself swears by it in His Book
With it, man learns what he does not know
He sees what has previously been veiled
He feels what is embedded within the unseen
Truth manifests itself within the soul
Realizations about oneself...
They escape through the pen onto the pad
So others may understand what the essence of reality speaks
Speak to the world through words of the pen
If your voice is void of power...
...inaudible
The pen will always listen
Firmly dictate the truth if none other shall hear
For one day the world shall see what it was too arrogant to bear
Behold, the power of the pen
It continues to speak long after the tongue is dead
For mere whispers of words are easily lost in the wind...
...forgotten over time
Yet the pen magnifies permanence
From the beginning until the end
The pens have been lifted
And the ink has dried
What has been written on the Tablet
Will be ordained
Thus behold the power of the pen
Reality will be sustained.
