What do you think the sum of all human emotion is?

Hope? Fear? Despair? Hunger? Love? Stoicism? Acceptance?

Of those listed, in the world today I would have to go with despair. It's a cruel, indifferent world... hopefully one day that will change (hmm, looks like I just inadvertently added hope in there too ;) )

so you'd apply newtons laws to emotion too ertw? interesting... i think love cancels out hate too etc. but i'm hoping we're left with hope instead of nothing

For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction-2nd law of Newtonian physics... to extend this sum all of human emotions, for every instance of love there is hate, for every instance of stoicism there is despair, thus the sum of all emotions is zero.... nothing... no emotion.

ahhh! Thanks for the clarification luv.

In that case.... I'd say it would have to be "Angst".

to clarify: if all the individuals that make up humanity were asked how they felt - and this was then 'added' together, what do you think would be the prevailing emotion?

I don't know if we can sum up human emotion. Even if we could, wouldnt each individual have his/her own equasion?
