hey! haha. i challenge anyone to go to this lady, for eyebrows or wedding makeup trial, and then check us out. i'm sure she's good. however, there are many artists, but there's only one picasso. u don't know brow reshaping or hot wedding makeup til Limelight. normally, im very humble. but in this case, im so confident that my clients will fall off their chair in excitement, because my past clients have cried with joy, and that's how i get new clients. hey nyce, just ask shahnaz. we've done her eyebrows, and her valima makeup and she regrets we didn't do her baraat. =oD ok, i'm done plugging now. thank's for the spotlight.

ahem ahem.. ok call me a weasel but i just couldn't resist this one. check out one of the aforementioned places for threading, but if u want ur eyebrows done, and i mean like truly reshaped, with not a hair out of place, that look as perfect as if they'd been penciled in, then let me tell you, there is not a being on this planet who can do eyebrows like i do. sure, someone will charge u 5-15 bucks for a quick thread or wax, removing all the sparse hairs and cleaning ur brows up a bit. but if u truly want them reshaped and perfected to their maximum potential, with the use of thread and tweezers, then this is your calling. i own a business called Limelight Beauty in which we provide wedding and special occasion makeup, makeovers, personal stylist services, hairdos, and eyebrow makeovers. (full face threading is available for those receving makeup services.) it's coming up fast so keep an eye out for us. the site is currently being updated, but email me for more info. =oD

try bushra at lahore beuty salon. its a barber shop in alexandria neare O's place and she does the women's stuff in the back behind a curtain. she's does a really good job. $20 for whole face and I think its $5 for eyebrows.

LOL...I heard there's a lady in DC that does a really good job but i dont know yet where this lady lives..was hoping someone would post it...but yea, Sonia Saree on Lee Highway, it seems a lil ghetto when she's doing it...but...she does a pretty good job.

Another option is Maria's place in Herndon. It's a women's only salon, right next to a curve's gym, so it's very private. It's $6 for eyebrows and $25 for your whole face, including eyebrows.

Hey there:

Sonia Sari's on Lee Highway offers threading as long as you're willing to suffer the minor inconvenience of sitting in a chair in front of a few customers; lol. it's $5 for eyebrows and $5 for upper lip; not bad at all. The woman there does a very good job in my experience. Salaam

When I was in DC I used to go to Sonia's for threading - its 6681C Backlick Road, Springfield VA - same shopping center as the Outback restaurant. The lady would be there every day but Wed. $5 for eyes, 10 for whole face. :)
